Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime briefly in Netherlands – Androidworld
KPN during a presentation that was dominated by LTE-A, a faster version of 4G, the Samsung Galaxy Prime S5 shown to a select few. It is not the long-awaited Samsung Galaxy F, but a version of the Galaxy S5 with faster chipset and support for faster 4G Internet.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime is a variant of the Galaxy S5 are slightly improved specifications and support for 4G + or LTE Advanced. This will be even higher speeds achieved on the mobile network. Under the hood of the Samsung Galaxy Prime S5, according to rumors a Snapdragon chipset 805 are a minor upgrade compared to the regular Galaxy S5. According to Tweakers unit that was recently seen would have a full HD screen and the phone seemed to us, a G+ ’4 ‘symbol on the device after, identical to the’ normal ‘Galaxy S5. The device is therefore not provided with metal back, but with dots of the plastic material-pattern. The unit has model number SM-G901F. This model number has been previously linked to the Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime by Evan Blass @ EVleaks and user agent -profile of this unit is to be found on the official website of Samsung. backSamsung Galaxy F
Earlier rumors spoke of a Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime with qHD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset and 805 metal housing. Recently, we came increasingly called Samsung Galaxy against F and it now seems proven that they are two different devices. Thereby getting the Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime or a Snapdragon 805 chipset (and LTE-Advanced), but no new housing and a new screen.
The Samsung Galaxy F, which can be seen below in a leaked press render would , must be a third flagship Samsung go, besides the Samsung Galaxy S and Galaxy Note series. The Galaxy F we expect in any event not later than the Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime.Earlier devices
Samsung has previously updated versions of its vlaggeschiptoestellen released in the past. The Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE-A example was a month after the launch of the original Samsung Galaxy S4 available, but almost exclusively in home country South Korea.
The Galaxy S III also has an optional version that has support for 4G (LTE). The standard version of the Galaxy S III (I9300) only has support for 2G and 3G, but the 4G version (I9305) also has support for fast internet via LTE. So it certainly seems not unlikely that the device shown by KPN will be marketed board as Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A.No pictures
We too have seen the device at KPN, but making photos and screenshots were not allowed. Did know the KPN employees to tell that it ‘would not last long “before a device would come. 4G + with support on the market So we expect in the near future to see the Galaxy S5 Prime.
